A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings!

Welcome to the website for the Colorado Rocky Mountain Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We serve the northern Front Range of Colorado and Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming. I am honored to be the 1st President as we serve our communities through Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action.

The chapter has embarked on an amazing journey in the Charismatic & Courageous Central Region since our historic chartering on December 16, 2023. The “Thirteen Blessed Deltas” have actively engaged in service to the community through public service initiatives, embodying our chapter vision: See the Need. Be the Service.

We carry on the legacy of our Founders—22 college-educated women who, in 1913 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C., founded Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Since its inception, more than 300,000 women have been initiated, making Delta Sigma Theta one of the largest African American women’s organizations in the country.

We are committed and guided by our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which include:

• Educational Development
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Physical and Mental Health
• Political Awareness and Involvement

As a 30-year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I have witnessed the evolution of our organization and our continued service at the local, regional, national, and international levels. We remain steadfast in our mission, striving to meet the mark of service and sisterhood for those in need—living our vision to See the Need. Be the Service.
